Adobe Illustrator is the industry standard for vector graphics, used by graphic designers, illustrators, and brand professionals to create artwork that scales perfectly from business card to billboard. In this course you'll build from the ground up — learning the Illustrator workspace, artboards, colour modes, swatches, gradients, and the fundamental difference between vector and bitmap images. You'll master the essential drawing tools including the pen tool, pathfinder operations, basic shapes, transformations, and stroke properties, then progress to working with type, layers, clipping masks, blending modes, and symbols. In the final week you'll explore envelope distort, 3D effects, graphic styles, image trace, and Illustrator's latest generative AI features including Text to Vector and Generative Fills. You'll leave with a Certificate of Completion from the Academy of Digital Arts and a portfolio of vector artwork ready to show employers.

The course runs from Monday to Wednesday from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
Over the runtime of the course you will learn everything from scratch while being instructed by a lecturer.
After the course is finished you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
You will have your project work as part of your portfolio.
