JavaScript is the programming language of the web — and one of the most in-demand skills in the digital industry. In this course you’ll start with the absolute fundamentals: variables, data types, conditions, and loops — then quickly build up to writing functions, working with arrays and objects, and understanding how JavaScript interacts with the structure of a web page. By Week 3 you’ll be selecting and modifying HTML elements in real time, responding to user events, and building interactive page features from scratch. In Week 4 you’ll take it further with APIs, local storage, and ES6 features, finishing with a mini project that demonstrates everything you’ve learned. You’ll leave with a Certificate of Completion from the Academy of Digital Arts and real JavaScript project work for your portfolio.
